Lanvin

Lanvin

Lanvin is a French multinational high fashion house that was founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889. It is one of the oldest French fashion houses still in operation. Lanvin is known for its elegant and sophisticated designs, with a focus on luxury and craftsmanship.

Originally, Lanvin started as a millinery (hat-making) business, and Jeanne Lanvin gained popularity for her skill in creating beautiful hats. Over the years, the brand expanded its offerings to include women's and men's ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, and perfumes.

Lanvin has had various creative directors over the years, and each has contributed to the brand's evolution. Notably, Alber Elbaz, who served as the creative director from 2001 to 2015, played a significant role in revitalizing and modernizing the brand.
